Our story with the Entlebucher Mountain Dog breed began with much research into various types and breeds of dogs. We had just moved into our first home and were excited to bring a dog to our family. The process for being considered for a puppy takes several steps. We ask that you call us to express your interest through a phone interview at (574) 674-0985 or begin the process by email entle93@comcast.net Please let us know your geographic location, type of residence, lifestyle, and family size/dynamics. We would also like to know your intentions for an Entlebucher Mountain Dog: showing, breeding or great family pet… We would be glad to discuss with you any additional questions you may have about North Star or our dogs. We always welcome visitors to meet our dogs. Even if an Entlebucher may not be the best match for you, we always welcome you to interact with our family.
North Star Kennel is located near South Bend, Indiana (Notre Dame country). Our puppies are born and raised in a clean family environment. They are raised indoors and provided with constant care and supervision. When developmentally ready, they also enjoy a large fenced backyard. We also believe that socialization is vital, and it encourages positive development. Therefore, our dogs are exposed to adults and children, young and old with various shapes, sizes, gender, and ethnicities. Our dogs are also exposed to various noises that occur within a household in a suburb setting (vacuum, phone, etc..). We also believe it is important to have our dogs interact with people with disabilities. Having a variety of experiences only helps develop the awareness of the world they will be living in.
Omigosh, Debra---9 puppies!!!! How great for Hara and you! I'm assuming they are all healthy. Good breeding! I'm going to have to keep tabs on them as I'm still yearning for another pup to keep Zoe on her toes!
